OrderPocket — Privacy Policy

OrderPocket is an order-management app for home bakers and small dessert businesses, made by NexEvent Studio. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.

Data stored on your device

Your business profile, orders, customer contact details, payments, costs, photos and settings are stored in a local database on your own device. They are not sent to NexEvent Studio. Deleting the app deletes this data; use the in-app backup and export tools to keep copies.

Backups and exports

Backup files and CSV exports that you create contain your business records, including customer names and contact details. They are saved or shared only where you choose to send them.

Cloud backup

Cloud backup is off until you turn it on. When it is on, the app creates a backup of your business records and photos, encrypts it on your phone (AES-256-GCM) with a key derived from your personal recovery code, and uploads only the encrypted file to NexEvent Studio's server (nexevent.tech). Your recovery code and the encryption key never leave your phone, so NexEvent Studio cannot read your backups. We store the encrypted files, their size, upload time and app version, and keep your 10 most recent backups.

Anyone who has your recovery code can restore your backups, so keep it private. If you lose it, your backups cannot be recovered by anyone. You can delete all of your cloud backups at any time from More → Backup & export → Delete all cloud backups, or by emailing us.

Customer tracking pages

If you choose to share a tracking link for an order, the app publishes a minimal status snapshot to nexevent.tech so your customer can view it: order number, item names, quantities and descriptions, order status and its change times, a payment-status label (such as "advance received" — never any amounts), fulfillment date and time, the delivery method or courier name you entered (if any), and your business name and contact details (phone, address and email, as entered in your business settings). It never includes your customer's name, contact details, or any payment amounts. Tracking links use long random codes; anyone with the link can view that page. Snapshots can be removed on request via the contact below.

Purchases

Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We do not collect or see your payment card details. See Google Play's terms and privacy policy for how Google processes payments.

Notifications

Order reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They require your permission and never leave the device.

What we do not do

No advertising, no sale of data, no third-party analytics, no automatic messaging to your customers.
